FireTiger Stories

I am so proud of the amazing women who trust me to guide them on their fitness journey. These are just some of their stories, a true testament to their hard work and dedication, and proof that with the right partnership and the courage to just begin, you can achieve your vision, and even surpass it.

Before I started training with Sarah at FireTiger Fitness, I considered exercise a necessary evil—something to be endured, not enjoyed. Thanks to her incredible guidance, patience, and infectious energy, my entire mindset has shifted.

Sarah’s approach is a perfect blend of encouragement and inspiration. She doesn’t just put you through a routine; she creates a supportive atmosphere where you feel capable of pushing yourself. On days when I lacked motivation, her enthusiasm kept me coming back for more. Sarah genuinely takes the time to understand my life and my body, tailoring each session to my specific needs and goals especially on my recovery journey following a repeated knee injury. This personalised attention ensures I’m challenged but never overwhelmed, building my confidence. The sessions are dynamic, so I never get bored, and I’m often laughing through the challenge.I’ve not only seen physical results, but the true transformation has been internal. I no longer view exercise as a punishment but as a vital part of a balanced, healthy lifestyle.

Sarah has empowered me to be a stronger, healthier version of myself, proving that fitness can be life-enhancing and something to look forward to.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah to anyone who thinks they “hate” working out. She’ll show you that it’s possible to find joy in fitness and become the strongest, happiest version of yourself.

I first met Sarah when she was Head of Hockey and Head of Girls Sport at my daughters’ school.  Her energy and enthusiasm is infectious, and through her positive approach to coaching, she inspired both girls in their sports.

At the outset of Firetiger Fitness and understanding that Sarah’s focus was on personal fitness training for girls and women, I asked her to spend time training and coaching my senior school aged daughters.  Sarah developed programmes that focused on their personal needs which also complimented their chosen sports (athletics, netball and hockey).

I later asked Sarah is she would consider delivering sessions for ‘menopausal’ women, and it was from that moment that my personal journey started.  I have now trained with Sarah for over two years, sometimes in group sessions and other times in one-to-one sessions.  I have found a new strength in my fitness, achieving goals that I had never contemplated.  I’m in my 50s and my strength and mobility is by far the best it’s ever been, and this has given me the motivation to continue training as well as taking the time to understand how my body works and what it needs.  Sarah’s positivity, drive and enthusiasm, as well as her belief that anything is achievable, has been a wonderful motivator.  When training with Sarah, it’s an honest and open space and I feel very safe.  There’s no room for judgement: it’s the time and place for me to invest in myself and my future health.

I started training with Sarah 3 years ago after meeting through teaching. When I started, my motivations were very different to what they are now. Initially, the world had just returned to some normality after lockdowns, and having had my daughter 2 years prior – I started with the main focus being to lose some of the baby weight and feel a bit more like myself.

Within one session, I was hooked.

Having been friends with Sarah for a few years, before starting to train with her, I was fully aware of her infectious enthusiasm. This, alongside her passion for supporting women in their physical, mental and nutritional development has been pivotal to who I am now.

I have loved seeing how strong I can become and with Sarah’s expertise and cheerleading I have been amazed at what my mind and body can do.

The past year has been a tough one mentally and physically for me and yet I have continued to have some consistency through Sarah’s training. The regular check ins and training sessions have given me a focus which has been a lifeline for both my mental a physical health.

Being someone who has always had low self confidence, training with Sarah has helped me believe in myself and build strength and confidence in myself.

I never thought I would be a “gym” or weights person, but I don’t know what I would do without it now.

Thank you Sarah, you honestly don’t know how much I appreciate everything you have done as a PT and friend. ❤️

Sarah is a great fun person to be around and to learn from. She has a huge amount of knowledge in many different areas and is supportive about giving the correct advice. I have always been a team sports player, but Sarah has helped me gain confidence within the gym and helped massively with my wellbeing and nutrition. Not only has she helped with my technique on many different things, but she has helped to motivate me and actually got me wanting to go to the gym to train and improve! She has helped me to train in the correct way for my body and for what I want to achieve. She is always there if you have any questions about anything. She is amazing at what she does and I would not go to anyone else for any advice.

Sarah’s outgoing and enthusiastic nature has helped me on the days I really don’t feel like training. My sessions are always energetic and never boring, which keeps me coming back for more! Sarah has really taken the time to get to know me and my life, meaning my training is tailored around my free time and busy schedule. This has also included remote online sessions I can do from home and shorter simple plans that are super easy to follow on my own. Sarah motivates me to be a strong, empowered and healthy woman. I am lucky to have not only an amazing trainer, but also a friend for life.

I have had a difficult journey with my body confidence on my mental health journey, but Sarah has always been a fantastic support and source of information. Unlike most other trainers I know, the emphasis is on becoming your best self, both mentally and physically. If I am starting to look too thin, Sarah would sensitively mention it and discuss different kinds of exercise and meal plans for me to try instead. The emphasis really is on a well rounded lifestyle. One where you can still enjoy cheese and wine but also keep on track to becoming the healthiest and happiest version of you. You will be beasted but laugh the whole time.
